Design Consultations
We offer a full service design consultation program. Whether your project involves updating a room or multiple rooms, we are committed to providing you with our healthy, design-forward furniture, accessories and elevated design services.
We begin with an in-store consultation with one of our experienced designers, you are then guided through the process by your designer to develop a functional, custom, sophisticated look for your space and budget that reflects your personal style, needs, and desires.

Our Design Process
Meet Your Design Consultant
Schedule your visit, and one of our interior design consultants will be in touch with you (You can call or walk in too.)
This discussion will help us understand your expectations, lifestyle, and style preferences.
You will take a tour of our studio floor to find your ideal piece, or to feel the different cushion options.
In our Design Resource Center, you will find the perfect fabrics and customizations.
Measure Up
Your interior design consultant will likely make a home visit to get a feel for your space, bring other sample options, and measure your room and furniture so he or she can put together a plan.
Review and Order
You may love the design instantly, or after a few tweaks. When adjustments are made and reviewed again, you’ll be ready to order.
Delivery
Sit back and relax. We’ll call you when it’s time to schedule your delivery. We’re in the business of building relationships. Your design consultant will follow up to make sure you’re completely happy with your pieces. We have services available for the life of your furniture, to keep it feeling and looking just as good as it did on day one.

Meet our Designers
Lisa Chamberlin
Called by the majestic mountains and landscape, Lisa relocated here from New York City where she had her own business transforming spaces. Lisa brings 20 years of experience to her Design Consultant position at Atelier Maison & Co.
Lisa works closely to understand her client’s vision and lifestyle, injecting aspects of their personality and stories into the design of their living spaces. Feeling a strong connection to nature, she seeks to bring the outdoors in by incorporating natural elements and nature-inspired materials. She loves playing with patterns and rich textures then sprinkling in art, textiles and vintage finds. The end result is a home with an elevated look and a warm, inviting feel.
Liz Myers
Liz is a Designer and the Manager of our Cashiers store. Liz is originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where she worked for many years with a design firm as both Designer and Project Manager. She relocated to Georgia in 2020 to "Live the Dream" of both the mountain setting and lake living. She currently has a Condo on Kingwood Country Club in Clayton, Georgia and a restored log cabin on Lake Hartwell in Hartwell, Georgia with her husband, Jon and 2 dogs, Theodore Alexander and Eleanor Louise. Her favorite part of design is two fold - First, designing for the client which gives way to designing in many different styles. Secondly, the juxtaposition, allowing a home to be personalized and thought provoking! She takes pride in continuing to read, research and take classes to stay current with the ever-changing world of interior design. Being the Manager is allowing her to mentor other designers and help them flourish as well as meet and engage with a plethora of interesting and intriguing people!
Kayla Burris

Kayla prides herself in paying attention to the details to not only create beautiful and functional spaces, but also allows her to create long term client relationships, and great satisfaction with all her interior design projects.
Whitney Mayer
Whitney graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where she earned a B.S. in Interior Design. She then worked for Postcard from Paris/Linda McDougald Design, in Greenville, SC until a sense of adventure called her to Bainbridge Island, WA. While in the Pacific Northwest, Whitney worked as a designer for Furnish Bainbridge until launching her own interior design business, Swan Studio Interiors. The desire to help her clients in a deeper way led her to study traditional Chinese Feng Shui at Golden Gate Feng Shui School in Oakland, CA. She continues to study and practice, integrating Feng Shui principles into her design work. A lifelong dancer, she also taught ballet at Bainbridge Dance Center and performed in musical theater productions with Bainbridge Performing Arts. The Summer of 2020 brought Whitney happily back home to the Carolinas! She currently resides in beautiful Asheville, NC, where she continues to dance and teach. Whitney has been an interior designer with Atelier Maison since the summer of 2022, where she enjoys blending her love of old world antiques with clean, modern lines and a fresh, elegant aesthetic.
