Community Involvement
At Atelier Maison & Co., we understand that strong communities are rooted in compassion and collaboration. Our dedication to community involvement is exemplified through our monthly initiative, “First Fridays,” where we commit our time and resources to support local charities. Each month, we engage in hands-on volunteer projects, donate essentials, and participate in activities that uplift those in need—whether it’s providing gifts during the holidays, assisting with home repairs, or simply extending a helping hand to our neighbors. We invite you to join us in fostering a spirit of generosity and service, as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and individuals throughout our community. Together, we can create lasting change and inspire hope.

Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth and Families
Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families is a private, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. It is not owned, managed, or governed by the state, except as licensing and other laws apply.
After their homes are deemed unsafe or unhealthy, children are placed in its care by the court system and Department of Social Services in their home county. Black Mountain Home serves children from birth through college age and beyond. Many of the children have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Some may stay for only a few weeks, while others may spend a considerable part of their childhood in its care.
In 2019, Black Mountain Home served more than 150 children from Western North Carolina.
Western Carolina Rescue Ministries
Since its establishment in March of 1981, Western Carolina Rescue Ministries has been a steadfast presence in the community, offering vital support to those in need.
With over thirty-five years of service, the ministry has been a witness to remarkable changes in the lives of the men and women it assists. Some individuals arrive seeking immediate necessities like food and shelter, while others take advantage of its one-year residential recovery program, which aims to liberate them from addiction’s grip. By addressing both immediate and long-term needs, Western Carolina Rescue Ministries plays a crucial role in fostering recovery and renewal, helping participants build a brighter, more stable future.
