Pinnacle Mountain Modern
The living room is our favorite aspect of this beautiful mountain home. There are ample windows and glass doors to a screened-in deck, exposed beams on an angular ceiling, and a mantle that is it’s own piece of art. The architecture was easy to compliment, and we’re really proud of the final product.
Inspired by the beautiful lot, Sandy & Larry wanted “furniture that would compliment the beautiful terrain and scenery, but at the same time would be comfortable and made from healthy materials.” We love furniture that lets some nature shine through, and the Hudsons like things with a modern touch, so the Moe Buffet and the Manta Desk were easy decisions. Both of those pieces showcase the grain of the wood, and are sustainably made with non-toxic finishes.
Interior Designer and Sales Manager Anne Reveley suggested the LKS Collection Sectional for several reasons. The living room was actually difficult to design. It is connected to the dining room, with a very open feel, but really needed the division that a sectional could provide. It was also a perfect marriage of the transitional architecture with the modern pieces in the dining room. The beautiful stained wood ceiling wanted something to brighten the room, and this sectional takes up a lot of visual space, so the light performance fabric was perfect.
This was such an enjoyable project for us because we got to start from an empty house, and our clients, the Hudsons, were wonderful. It was a blank canvas for us to bring their dreams to fruition.
